Facing the Storm
Improving your Mindset and Becoming a Strong Person

When you hear the rumbling of the thunder . . .
See the flash of the lightning . . .
Feel the first drops of rain on your face . . .
Do you face the storm, or turn away from it?
Many of us are scared to make a start on new goals, new adventures, or start a new career, because we’re so used to the comfort of our routine that, even if that routine isn’t a successful one, it’s still an “easy” one. We’re used to it.
Even when people embark on a new improvement for their careers, their homes, their bodies, they quite someway through achieving what they want because it becomes too uncomfortable, unfamiliar, or too hard.
They end up focusing on the discomfort, unfamiliarity, and forget why they started in the first place - Pain!
The pain caused by comfortable, familiar routine. The resultant being your anxiety, frustration, sometimes . . . depression. It can cause anger, and then you wake up one day and cannot explain why you feel this way. Tour life becomes mundane, unexciting, frustrating, and you think a weekend away will solve your problems until you come right back to the same old life you’re used to.
A weekend away won’t solve this problem, nor will a ‘quick fix.’
You want to solve this issue? Then you must take the time to invest money, time, and effort into improving your own body, mind, career, home, and whatever else you feel you need to work on.
People want an easy life. But this is a wrong thought trajectory.
Life is hard either way: you either have hard life being unhappy with yourself, your career, your body and mind; or you can be happy, but with effort. The effort knowing that a much better person will come out at the end of it all.
So what kind of life do you want?
You want to improve your body, mind, career, and home?
Or do you want to endure the type of suffering that yields no results?
You choose.
