MY THOUGHTS ON POWER PRODUCTION

Traditional Vs. Untraditional Way of Thinking

Hi Everyone!

Power production is something that you can all improve through persistent training aligned with developing muscular power.

Now, when I say, ‘muscular power’, it doesn’t mean you are going to be big and bulky, no. It does mean that your muscles will develop the efficiency of producing power and become better at using it.

Look at a tennis player, a boxer, or a netball player, in all of these sports, you need certain levels of muscular power, and are they all big and bulky? No!

You’ve got to get outside the traditional way of thinking about power.

To help you guys with more exercise choices, in tis earlier recording, I describe a broader range of exercises to help you develop power, like body-weight exercises, and banded exercises. They don’t necessarily have to be with a barbell or dumbbell.

Power lifting is different, in this sport and practice, you will develop size and muscular power, but that’s different to a tennis player, a boxer, or a netball player.

HOW YOU TRAIN DETERMINES THE PHYSIOLOGICAL ADAPTATIONS, YOUR PHYSICAL APPEARANCE, AND HOW YOU ARE ABLE TO USE MUSCULAR POWER in the first place.

Thanks for Reading!
