... And Losing your Rag!
When the shit hits the fan do you run, or do you face it?
Many of us, including myself recently, have been faced with difficult situations, and the way I have reacted to things in the past, have made me realise I needed to look inward, and how important it is to reflect upon the actions I have taken, and the situations I have reacted to.
Now, I want to be clear here, this isn’t going to turn into some “guru” bullshit, this is self-awareness and reflection. I got angry at a situation at work and I shook, and it’s not a nice feeling trust me! You ever had that?
Now I don’t want this to be confused with negative or ‘dark side’ energy - that’s a whole different topic - no, what I’m talking about is losing control of your own actions with your family, friends or scenarios within the workplace. This is normal at times, and it was rare for me to feel that way.
Lesson? Look inward and reflect, talk to your supervisor, talk to your partner, or a close friend and take better actions next time!
