No Medication, No mericle, Just ‘YOU’ …
Today I want to share with you some of my experience that I had with clients, and the strategies that worked so they could recover. And I didn’t know how significant this would be at the time, but it would be the cornerstone to set this newsletter and everything else I give unto you, in motion.
The Client’s Stories …
Disclaimer: For ethical reasons I won’t be using their names.
Client A. was struggling with rosacea, high blood pressure and digetsive issues, so much so that she was taking lanzaprozole wich is a stomach acid blocker, and she also took blood pressure medication.
Client B. was struggling with lower back pain for years and was at risk of high blood pressure to the point where she had received a letter from the doctor stating that they may have to prescribe her blood pressure medication if circumstances didn’t change.
When I asked them ‘what do you want from this programme?’ They both said, “I want to have more energy, and get rid of my pain”.
The Strategy?
I first asked them a series of questions:
At the start of the consultation, I asked client A. …
How long have you been on blood pressure medication?
How long have you been on Lanzaprozole?
Forgive me for asking, but is that makeup or is that how your skin currently looks?
How does it feel for you, now?
What do you eat on a regular basis?
How often do you drink water?
What’s your sleeping pattern like?
How often do you exercise?
What type of exercise do you like to do?
And I asked Client B. …
How long have you had back pain for?
Where is your back pain located, mainly?
How do you feel about being at risk of high blood pressure?
Do you have on joints that crack when you move or rotate them?
What do you eat on a regular basis?
How often do you drink water?
What’s your sleeping pattern like?
How often do you exercise?
What type of exercise do you like to do?
I recorded all there answers in my note pad and kept it safe for their viewing.
After they gave me their answers I said to client A. ‘did the doctor say to you why he prescribed you with stomach acid blocker?’ She replied, ‘he said that it’s because I had too much stomach acid and it was overflowing into my eosophagus’ (My client was pointing at a neck whilst she was explaining). I replied, ‘Client A, it’s a BIG misunderstanding that doctors seem to think there is too much stomach acid’…I continued,' ‘you have described to me skin, and digestive problems and they’re all linked to a gluten intolerance, even if you don’t have coeliac disease’, she replied, ‘really? I didn’t know that’, I said, ‘it’s okay, most people don’t because they’re not taught it’.
Client B was part of the same meeting as they were joining this programme together as mentioned earlier. Client B asked, ‘that’s interesting,… what about the back pain I’ve had for years, that’s different, what is going to happen with me?’ I replied ‘it is different in a sense, but it stems from the same thing,…’ she replied, ‘what’s that?’, I said, ‘malnutriton, caused by a gluten intolerance or inflammation of the intestines by other means’ I continued, ‘osteoporosis, osteomalacia and an joint or back = pain are like arms of the same octopus, with the excpetion of rheumatoid arthritis which is an infection of a mycoplasma’…Client B replied in surprise, ‘oh wow, that’s amazing, does that mean I can recover my back?’ I replied with a ressounding ‘Yes!’.
After I explained that the foods they ate were causing their internal environment to become damaged by inflammation (epigenetics), and we discussed at length, their nutritional requirements, hydration and sleep, I explained to them both about the macrobiotic diet and how, byt it’s nature, can help them both - main;ly because the macrobiotic diet naturally replaces all of the bad foods. Now I will say this, there are different versions of the macrobiotic diet, but for their programme we were focusing on the omne involving fish, meat, vegetabkes, fruit, nuts and seeds, and adding a palaeolithic spin on it to give them both more options (such as rice, millet, quinoa, etc.).

After this was explained, I told them the next steps:
food diaries
fitness testing
monthly nutritional reviews
monthly body measurements starting their next session
and goal setting
Which were all vital, and absolutely necessary for their progress and to make sure that they are getting guidance, bcause, like most, this concept was new to them.
The Follow-Through
During the fitness testing we only focused on the components of fitness that mattered to them, so that meant, balance, muscular endurance and cardiovascular endurance, primarily. Everything else, was out the window!
Muscular endurance tests involved tests such as:
push up test
sit up test
burpee test
Balance tests included tests like:
The standing stalk test
Cardiovascular endurance testing included:
The step test

As part of their programme they participated in fitness testing once per month. The nutritional diaries were also reviewed monthly. And as a BONUS, I gave them somehting extra to speed up their digetive recovery - Apple Cider Vinegar, that’s right. Why? Because apple cider vinegar has properties that literally help you REPRODUCE STOMACH ACID, and the reason that people don’t is because it doesn’t taste very nice. This also made me think, you know when you’re a child and your mum or dad makes you take medicine that doesnt taste very nice, but theythey do it because they know it’s good for you? Apple cider vinegar should be treated as just that! It should be used in small amounts daily, and in a medicinal fashion. I strongly recommended Client A and Client B use 1 to 2 drops in a half glass of water every morning, once a day minimum. This was to speed up their intestinal recovery.
The body measurements were circumference measurements taken by measuring tape:
waist
hips
stomach
arms
chest
They also didn’t mind the ‘old fashioned’ measuring callipers, and I thought this was good of them to recognise that one test alone, would not suffice.
So what’s the break down?
Conclusion
Consult and gather as much information as you can, ALWAYS
Provide solid advice backed by evidence of research or real life experience or both!
Follow through with the plan
Review goals and discuss them thoroughly
Remember that you aren’t just a coahc, you are their equals and cooperating is absolutely MANDATORY
Think outside the box!
FINAL NOTES:
It took both clients just three months for a significant noticeable change. Client A had weened off her blood pressure and stomach acid blocker medication, and significantly reduced her rosacea and significantly increased her energy levels.
Client B completely was no longer at risk of hgih blood pressure, significantly increased her energy and, after 4 months, completely reversed her back pain, after having it for years!
Thanks for Reading!
