Be Like a Rock

Never Succumbing to its "Rule"

Sometimes, there is a stench in the air . . .

A feeling that beckons for attention . . .

A number of people who succumb to its “rule” . . .

When things don’t sit right with the decisions of others, sometimes in a much higher position, we sometimes feel powerless, maybe even helpless.

We don’t want to accept it. We don’t want to succumb to its “rule”. There are no shields to defend against it.

However, there are things that you can do to take back this power - you can:

  • Learn HOW to communicate your issues, thus, making you a much more effective communicator - which s a skill that must be practiced daily.

  • Take control of the things you put in your body (food, water, etc.); in your brain (books: non-fiction, skills, etc.), and your movement (exercise).

These things will help you grow and take control of the things in your life in a pretty short space of time. How? When you learn to say ‘No’ to things like pizza, burgers, sweets, fizzy and sugary pop - you start to become aware of your ‘bitch voice’.

One last thing to answer the call for a greater existence in this life - when things don’t align with your values and you become better, and better, and more aware, then you should seek people, an organisation, that does.

And the great thing about practicing the skills I mentioned, is that you eventually ATTRACT a better group of people.

Be Solid my Friends, as Persistent as a Rock.

(P.s. This translates into exercise - to become mentally tough, so you can endure longer runs, swims, cycles; and to become more effective at communication in team events.)
