FREEDOM OF MOVEMENT
EXERCISES FOR DAILY ACTIVITIES & MOBILITY
Hi everyone!
Movement is everything - without your ability to move freely during the exercises you want to perform, without any aches or pains, you’re not going to perform well long term.
One of my recent guests on the show Jack Desmond, A qualified Strength & Conditioning Coach and Sports Massage Therapist, talked about this concept a lot.
We discussed in length, about your ability to move dictates, not only your movement now, but the activities of daily living (ADL’s) you will be able to perform in the future: whether it be lifting your grand kids up for a hug, lifting those shopping bags to the car, or putting your groceries in the cupboard.
If you have stiff wrists, ankles, knees, hips and shoulders, then you’re going to find it difficult to perform exercises, and not just activities of every day life.

It is important that you work on these three things to help prevent or improve your movement:
Nutrition for bones and joints: Youngevity’s Beyond Osteo is the probably the best supplement out there, if not, get your hands on some colloidal calcium .
Sleep! Prioritise your sleep to allow your muscles, bones, joints, ligaments and tendons to recover.
Perform mobility exercises daily - exercises that move the hips, shoulders, thoracic spine, wrists and ankles. This will give you a foundational basis to help your body move more freely without any aches or pains.
The above must be practiced into habit. Perform these daily to achieve maximum mobility and freedom of movement.
