...And People's Short-Term Memories
After all of this nonsense in the news and the media talking about all of these different things: the Ukraine War (manufactured), The Israeli War (manufactured), The Russia-Trump Collusion (also manufactured), and a whole host of other things that the media (BBC, CNN, etc.), elite corps like Amazon, etc., and the governments of the world, have done to grab your attention, one thing has become abundantly clear -
‘PEOPLE HAVE SHORT-TERM MEMORIES’
And this brings me to my main point of this article:
‘PLAN AHEAD & LOOK AHEAD!’
What is noticeable is that people don’t seem to plan far enough ahead, they don’t think about their ambitions of the future, and what’s worse is that they don’t seem to care enough to do anything about it.
But looking at a more micro-level, it’s important to address the proverbial “elephant in the room” - I’m referring to your LONG-TERM FITNESS GOALS and the POSITIVE EXAMPLE that will set for your family and the other people around you!
This is why visualisation is important - although it’s seen by many as “a cheesy thing to do” or “not worth your time”, it is one of the main mental exercises you can practice to paint a vision of what you want your future to look like:
‘What body do you want?’
‘What kind of definition do you want to have?’
‘What kind of example will this set for your kids?’
‘Will it inspire them to take initiative to be healthier and fitter?’
‘HOW DO YOU KNOW WHERE YOU’RE GOING IF YOU HAVEN’T PROGRAMMED A DESTINATION?!’
