THE MASTERY OF DETAIL IN FITNESS PLANNING

Hi everyone!

Here’s the scenario . . .

You’re at a set of traffic lights in your local city, on signal indicates to go straight on (right lane), and the other (left lane) is to turn left. The arrow for ‘straight on’ goes green first, followed by ‘left turn’ moments later.

Both lights for ‘straight on’ and ‘left turn’ or red and we are anticipating the green light (our green light). The driver of a Rover SUV, in front of you sees ‘GREEN’ and goes . . . You wait . . .

Can you guess what happened?

The driver in front lacked the awareness to actually think, and just reacted. I want you to be better than that!

When you are drafting your fitness plan for the week, month, year; I want you to have a keen eye for detail and pay attention to each part, down to the seconds you’ll be performing your workout in.

The exercises, movement patterns, repetitions, sets, rest periods, physiological adaptations (cardiovascular endurance, etc.), and yes, even your water intake and supplementation between bouts, all matter!

Take inventory of yourself and become a master of detail in the pursuit of your fitness goals.

In this pursuit, you will be developing an awareness that you never thought originally possible, and you will be developing a skill - Mastery of Detail - that most people just don’t possess at an elite level.

Through repetition, these skills can be mastered. Parents who spend a lot of time with their children have already mastered a great level of ‘eye for detail’ because they have to be incredibly aware for the safety of their children; and those of you who are parents reading this, all it takes is you to use that eye for detail in your fitness, nutrition, and sleep prep, to become masters of your bodies!
