BEING THE EXAMPLE OF FITNESS AND HEALTH FOR YOUR CHILDREN, YOUR FAMILY, AND YOUR COMMUNITY!
SETTING THE STANDARD

Hi everyone!
Today, I wanted to talk to you about setting the example:
Setting the example for YOURSELF.
Setting the example for YOUR CHILDREN.
Setting the example for the rest of YOUR FAMILY.
Setting the example for YOUR COMMUNITY.
Setting the Standard For Yourself
Why did I start with setting the example for yourself?
Because you need to be selfish to be selfless - you cannot give what you don’t have.
And it is the example you set for yourself, raising your standard in the level of detail and effort you put into your workouts, sleep, hydration, recovery,, nutrition, and health, that people see.
Once people see that you’re doing it, then over time they will think, ‘well, if they’re doing it, ‘I’ can do it! It IS possible.’
And if you’re a parent, what better example to set for your children than this? It will inspire them to grow up with that example - the example of health and fitness.
Setting the Standard for Your Children & Family
When your children start talking about it openly to the rest of your family upon your family visits, and they see it in you, then some of the rest of your family will follow.
Not all though, so don’t be disappointed if some of them don’t - you’re always going to get the pessimist, they ‘nay-sayer’. Focus on the people that DO follow you.
Setting the Standard for Your Community
After you have done this, your neighbourhood and then your community will follow!
When the community starts to take note, that’s when change can start to happen on a bigger scale.
You can start to have are bigger impact on your neighbours. They will take to each other, and this is the kind of attention you want!
BE THE EXAMPLE! BE PERSITENT! BE UNSTOPPABLE!
Bonus
In this bonus, as in other bonuses, I always try to provide an audio alternative, especially for those who are busy or on the go all the time.
Sometimes it’s nice just to listen.
And, as mentioned before, a lot of these audio recordings aren’t, nor will ever be released to the public.
This is a short audio, and a chance to speak to you guys through a microphone, but also, to reinforce the above article.
Please, enjoy!
Please take the time to fill out this quick survey. It may not seem like much, but it’s essential to me, because then I can pump out more content that you all prefer.
Thanks again for reading!
And, if you like the above article, you may like the one below, ‘Morning Chalk Up.’ Although it’s CrossFit-based, they talk a lot about the things that are important for mindset and recovery.
These are elements of fitness we can all relate to.
