The Duality of Fitness
PART III
Hi everyone! And Welcome back to this ‘Story Series’ discussing the aspects of fitness that, under the surface of things, I believe people need to be more conscious of when consuming calories and what happens to the nutrition in your body after you exercise.
Today, I am going to be talking about the systems used when you exercise, why recovery is important, and the exercise itself. And I realise the term ‘exercise’ is quite a broad one, but don’t worry, I will be only discussing basic movements in this segment.

Let’s get started!
When you exercise you are actually using multiple systems and organs that contribute to your physical performance. These systems include THREE MAJOR ones:
Nervous System
Endocrine System
Cardiovascular system
Respiratory system
This is why it is so important that you replenish the nutrients you lose through exercise (a whole “soup” of the 90 essential nutrients!).
Up to 80% of the nutrified and oxygenated blood circulating through and nourishing those aforementioned systems can get transferred over to your muscular and skeletal system when you exercise.
Athletes participating in long endurance events or Strongman competitions, or event just HIIT training, are placed under a lot of physiological stress.
This is the very reason that gym-goers who understand these concepts, recover with creatine, whey protein, B-vitamins and so on.
Exercise itself, is a wonderful thing, but there’s a nuance there that must be addressed with the correct recovery protocols - and when you “marry” these two together, then ‘Superman’, ‘Superwoman’.
So go train with these concepts in mind and enjoy whatever training you are doing.
