‘Digest This’ Part III
Hi everyone!
First of all I would like to thank each and every one of you for giving your time and interest to this segment of the news letter. And before I move on let’s do a quick recap from the last two parts of the segment…
We’ve talked about the 12 harmful foods that cause inflammation to your gut
we’v discussed the intestinal villi that are responsible for absorbing your nutrition
We’ve talked about how little digestive hacks can help improve your digestion such as the food diary and elimination diets.
The GOOD FOODS
…so what about the GOOD FOODS?! What should you eat?
there are copius amount of GOOD FOODS that you can consume for your health and different reasons for doing so, but for now, let’s stick with ‘THE WHAT’…
Red meat (not fried or burnt)
Poultry
Fish
Fruit
Vegetables
Nuts
Seeds
Butter, lard, and other animal fats
Yoghurt, Cheese, milk (as long as not allergic or intolerant)
Rice, quinoa, millet, buchwheat (is not actual wheat)

Herbs, spices & salt

The Five Ways Of Cooking …
Thewre is so much you can have! So what about the WAYS IN WHICH TO COOK YOUR FOOD? I think this is something that people may struggle with from time to time, do you?
Roasting
Stewing
Baking
Steaming
Cooking in water
These are some great ways to cook your food healthfully without risking it becoming toxic to your body, your body that you have worked so hard to get to where you are today!
Bonus Tip 1#: You know these grill lines that everyone loves on their chicken and steaks and kebabs? That’s acrylamide! The inflammatory substance that’s harming you! The ONLY reason it’s been made POPULAR is because the advertise it so by putting good lighting on it and rotating it on those Nando’s adverts.
Bonus Tip 2#: When your cells become inflammed and oxidize because of acrylamides, heterocyclic amines, and other harmful chemicals, they become damaged and cause cell death (apoptosis). Think of ‘Humpty Dumpty’ and the rhyme that follows…
“Humty Dumpty sat on a wall..
Humty Dumpty had a great fall…”

This type of thing has a HUGE impact on your ability to run, jump, lift weights and even effects the amount of energy you have to play with your kids during the Summer Holidays, You Don’t Want That,…Do You?
Thanks For reading guys, I hope this has helped you in some way, look after yourselves and I’ll see ya next time!
