DEVELOPING LEG STRENGTH
AN EXAMPLE OF ONE OF MY SESSIONS
Hi everyone!
Today, is a quick blast to share with you my leg session. At the time of this article, I like to do a legs session twice per week to develop a strong trunk and a good foundation for the Olympic lift prep that I’m doing in prep for the CrossFit events coming up in 2025 (It takes a lot of prep!).
Here’s what I like to do on a Monday And Wednesday:
Monday | Wednesday | ||
---|---|---|---|
Barbell Back Squat | 1×12 @13kg 2×10 @48kg 2×6 @53kg 1×10 @33kg | Barbell Back Squat | 1×12 @13kg 2×10 @48kg |
Single-Arm Dumbbell Side Lunge with Toe Touch | 2×10 @12.5kg | Single-Arm Dumbbell Overhead Lunge | 2×8/side @12.5kg |
Notes: I tend to listen to my body and gauge whether or not I have had too much or too little. I also prefer to keep the sessions short as I only have so much energy to pend during certain times of the day.
This also depends on which shifts I have been assigned.
Thanks for reading!
