The Effects on Your Long-Term Goals

Sometimes we’re tired . . .

Sometimes we feel we “don’t have the time” . . .

A lot of the time, it’s just your ‘bitch voice’ making excuses . . .

And those whom aren’t aware of this concept I’m talking about, will never make conscious changes that will positively impact their future.

There are two voices in your head that always talk you in, or talk you out of doing something; and that something could either benefit you or harm you in the long term - not necessarily physically either.

You are always the BEST salesperson, because you all know exactly what to say to talk you ‘in’, or ‘out’ of a task or decision.

These voices are the ones that say, ‘oh well, I deserve that chocolate because I’ve been ‘good’ today’, or my favourite, ‘I should have that pizza and chocolate for desert, because it’s balance’.

This is where the term “balance” gets thrown outta whack, because people don’t think enough about the LONG-TERM GAME - the only think about “rewarding” themselves at the end of the week, or the end of the month.

If you honestly think and believe that having “a treat” at the end of the week or the end of the month is “a reward” then there’s no convincing you of the long-term consequences.

It isn’t “balance” when you “treat” yourself weekly or monthly. It isn’t “balance” when your behaviours don’t reflect your Long-Term Goals. And it certainly isn’t “balance” when you continue to use these excuses to talk yourself outta every single decision that could help you!

*Know yourself!

*Become aware of your bitch voice!
